I ️ ACE HARDWARE in downtown Carlinville... . I forgot the young guys name that was so professional helping me with springtime gardening and so forth of tools and supplies. . Met the manager who showed me around of their vast assortment of practically anything you might need for home repair and supplies. . This store is deeply planted with everything or even anything you can DREAM of.. well stocked shelves with heavy inventory.. exceptional and courteous staff.. . ...a definite home town feeling and warm atmosphere.. thank Y'all for being so helpful with my new home.. . Great hardware store. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have just about everything you need. We needed plants for a shaded area. Talked to Bobbi and she helped us find the right plants for our project.

One of my favorite stores! Smaller than a normal Ace. They do screen repairs and cut keys and glass. They have dollar sections throughout. There is a hidden room that has mowers and birdbaths and other yard stuff. There's so many little things and rooms in here to look at that it takes me forever everytime I go in.
